Do you remember W's expression in that classroom when his aid told him what had just happened on 9-11? You can't fake that kind of 'Oh, S**T' expression he had. There was a man completely lost as to what happened and what to do next. Besides, to pull off those kind of acts would require thousands of 'willing' American participants to commit the acts and then stay quiet about it. I just don't buy that that many Americans are willing to commit murder of fellow Americans for any reason, let alone political advantage. Even, for argument sake they were capable of committing it, someone would blab.

I would however say that I think that the Bush Administration exploited 9-11 to drum up support to invade Iraq. THAT I do buy.
I see what you mean. You seem to think America wouldn't do anything bad like this. Let's look at what we do know. The gulf of Tonkin lie for example. Pearl Harbor as well. America knew it had to get into world war 2, but how? America was opposed to the war. So they made Pearl Harboe a sitting duck while the American government politically provoked the Japanese. Cutting of their oil was the last step in a plan to force Japan to attack. Then we could enter the war with a clear "concience" as the victim fighting back. America is the only country to have ever nuked anyone as well.

We are hardly the worst offender in the world, not even close. We could never hold a candle to Mao, Stalin or Hitler. However having said that, America is not above a little false flag operations or starting or entering wars under less than honest pretexts.
