Just back from a midnight walk on the beach with the dog, decided to go down and watch the QE2 leave the river of her birthplace for the last time, a shame to see the last of the real ocean liners sail off into retirement (especially since she is almost exactly the same age as me). She looked like a moving city of light against the Isle of Arran.
The BBC has some
nice footage of her earlier today at Greenock, tens of thousands of people visited her there today, whilst the dog and I were the only ones lucky enough to see her from the beach!
