All in good humor, sir. It is a frustrating thing he does. My first days on the U-Boat I was going crazy looking for the bathroom. Had to poop on the cigarette deck. Then when I finally found the scheiss haus I tried working the controls the same as in my fleet boat and blew scheiss all over the bulkhead. I shoulda done it on deck after all.
Those guys measure their speed in good old knots, but screw it all up with @#$%@ meters, and kilograms and some @#$# stangenfarnrohr and freakin' kippwinkle. Then there's some contraption called the okularkopf. It's all damned weird. Why do they have to use all them foreign words anyway? You think I'm kiddin'?
Read it and weep. No human being should have to endure such claptrap. Roman damn numerals on the torpedo tubes. They have a high falutin' opinion of theirselves, don't they? Missed my ice cream too. Makes me freakin' grouchy, that's what it does...
