I guess that's correct but I was not convinced if he is really still watching the German media or what else he meant with that "I wonder what they show .. " remark. Don't forget it's much easier to get American media in Germany than the other way round.
Tell me about it.. and it is expansive too. If you want German TV, you have to pay extra.
That's what I meant. I also spend time abroad and I know it's means practically bye bye german TV. And I enjoy the german media again every time I return from somewhere like Spain or South America or Asia. Imo there are only three countries in Europe with a real media culture which are UK, Germany and France. Worldwide, there's still the US / Canadian, there is Al Jazeera and I don't know about Japan and Australia, but all in all we are among the best.
I agree. =) Luckily there are ways around of not being able to watch your favorite TV shows.
