It is the US and Germany, and for that sake probably all countries are cocooned in their media.

Furthermore, as a German I do have first hand experience with the media in Germany.

I am not here to defend the european media but foremost the BBC but also our German and French news sources are of a very high standard though admittedly somewhat leftist in the case of Germany and especially France.

I do agree with you, but they are still media and they do try sell their stories to the brought population.

Sure I could try to answer your question but I dont run for Vice President of the United States. Of course I don't disagree that the term leaves room for interpretation, but Palin didn't know what to say at all, and she is running for VP. She should have known that with her previous record the eyes would be on her to say something meaningful - like for instance what you just said - but not this "Charly..oh..Charly" chitchat.

You apparently watched the interview, did you notice that Palin was actually correct with her answer? Her answer was one of the 'Bush Doctrines', but Charly "Mr Teacher' Gibson choose to ignore the validity.

Conclusion: She cannot handle situations when she didnt learn the answers by heart because she is an naive housewife with just barely above average intellect and ambition.

Lending help to an ally is not just defined as dropping bombs. She specifically said help and CNN left some stuff out.

She can not have been very interested in travelling outside the US without a passport. What a lousy preparation for what she wants to do, I probably travelled more than her in my life, and who am I?

So, tell me, why would you need a passport, if you can travel over the whole continent without one? Basing someones qualification partly on the fact that he/she did not hold a passport is a pretty ridiculous comment considering where you can go without the need to have one.
