I think I hinted at it somewhere in these threads, but it probably was easy to miss. Sorry to hear of your plight, but I will give you one clue - don't settle - biggest words of wisdom I can share ever.
You must also possess the appropriate mindset. If you think you are going to get crap, that is exactly what you will end up with - that is my second biggest words of wisdom I can share.
Last is - be humble, but at the same time, be cool to hang with - that is #3.
If you master those 3 things, the sky is the limit in this world. You will have the base tools to retire rich or poor based on them, with appropriate investments after the base is in place of course. Hopefully these ideas help you my friend.
