I was more remarking on the choices of the Presidential candidates to keep their VP choices on a short leash or not. Wise choice on McCain's part to do so and unwise choice on Obamas not to do so, IMO. I don't think either VP choice is going to win the election. My true belief is that the election will, as usual, be won based on rhetoric since most people (present company excluded) won't take the time to research any of the claims made by either candidate and will vote for the person who says what they want to hear.
