17:40 Received a convoy report from BdU, coming right at me. Course 180, speed 6kt. Taking a position for attack. A few tankers, medium cargoes, ore carriers and several small merchants. Protected by 6 escorts.
20:22 firing 2 torpedoes at Ore carrier. Distance 3.8km. Destroyer closing from port.
20:24 firing 2 torpedoes at Medium cargo. Diving. Speed 1kt.
20:26 4 explosions, almost all at the same time.
20:41 Medium cargo going down
. Escorts are looking for us at the wrong place. We escape undetected.
Ore carrier continues to sail with unchanged speed, apparently undamaged after 2 torpedo hits.
