Assuming you didn't get crazy you can probably have your Weapons Officer ID the ship for you with the button on the periscope panel to select it. Then click the word "Ship:" on the TDC data notepad and it'll open to the correct page.
If you did go 100% "Realism" and turned off that assistance, well.. get close and aim high.
