According to a contemporary source on U-2329 "Das Boot trägt die gelben Erkennungsstreifen am Turm ..." We followed this up and could only find mention of yellow stripes, never white. I don't have any colour photographs of a Typ-XXIII, but I do have some of other U-boat types, if you want me to dig them out.
Anyway, it should look something like this...

Oops, i had a feeling that stripe was wrong, i used a beautifully painted 1:72 scale model for texture reference
