Hi!
what you need is:
-Fraps (to record in-game footage) get it here
http://fraps.com/ (the freeware version has a limit that you only are able to record parts of just 30 seconds)
you have to buy a registration to get rid of the limitations and unlock ALL the features of Fraps.
-Windows Movie Maker (to edit the footage and to save the movie into a reasonable filesize/quality so you can upload it on youtube for example)
those are the basic needs to make a movie.
