Now as for it being an infantry simulator, I could easily point out a huge stack of faults on the infantry side. Things that are completely backwards/silly, and things your soldier does that no real life soldier would ever ever do in the middle of a fire fight unless they had a death wish.
All the same it is a half decent infantry simulator and a semi decent vehicle simulator (if you like lite sims). Where ArmA shines is bringing it all together in one environment.

Think you are right there. when I said "infantry simulator", I was thinking of that in direct comparison to the other available 3rd-person-shooters there are. It may not be the perfect simulation, but surely it is the most realistic simulation of infantry in the genre.
When needing to chose, I would prefer SBP every time, though. Here you have a simulation without doubt.
