These do not go out until the storm passes. My trucks are parked inside the Relient Center so they do not blow away. This is were my generators are. These are for hospitals and other buildings that are part of the relief effort. It is a mess down there and looks like weeks of clean up. The coast is completely trashed. US&R to deploy this morning for those that did not want to leave Galveston. Helicopters are standing by. I fear US&R will not find many survivors in Galveston. But the attempt needs to be made. Now the chit hits the fan as the storm passes. I start work at 0900 this morning and will work until 0900 Sunday morning...or die in the process. My co-worker has been up since 0600 yesterday moving FEMA relief. I relieve him this morning. |
