I think that was a pseudo-intended effect... it's a beta version, and importing all correct ships for their respective sides would have been a huge amount of time consumed, so he used the already existing ships in SH4 as placeholders.
But, not to worry, Richi's intention is to make this pack to be the coolest thing ever (or at least a decently playable SH3 port
), but things can't be done in one day, so give it time.
