Antikristuseke's story and that other thread about lefthandidness reminded me about one recent unpleasant morning I had. I was sleeping and almost woke up before the clock rang because I felt some strange feeling of threat or something. Didn't make much of it and continued sleeping for about ten or so minutes.
When the clock rang I tried to get up from the bed but my right arm was completely inoperable. And I don't mean numb like when its under the pillow and gets needles, I mean completely inoperable, just limp from the shoulder down. Tried to lift my right hand with my left hand and for a while I was really scared, felt like I just lost my arm from the shoulder down. After about few minutes it started to slowly get better and works ok now. Scary thing, must've been a pinched nerve or something. |
Also had a similar one, didn't know how I did it... Dave Mustaine from Megadeath also had the same trouble and had to go to fisotherapy because is nerve was actually damaged! from then on I try not to sleep over my arms... safety first... but again nothing like Murr44... Is it so bad there in Canada?
