sometimes you get a little bit too cocky....
Sounds very arrogant of you to say that "Ol' Europe" is just trying to keep America out of trouble. We had to take the lead role in rebuilding "Old Mother Europe" last century after you guys nearly destroyed yourselves, we intervened militarily helping to conduct regime change in Nazi Germany and Mussolini's Italy, and protected you from an expansionist and hostile Soviet Union for the last 50 years. How quickly these things are forgotten.

Actually, you guys need to worry about yourselves. You and the rest of the European continent as a whole are not perfect. Very flawed in fact. Very cocky of you to think otherwise......especially from what I've seen of you guys over there. Europe is nothing special in comparison to anybody else. And no, most of us don't care what you think about us or the decisions we make. Your press and ours make you think we do. But we really don't. Seriously, you guys may need to polish up your own image. Some of you guys look arrogantly ignorant to many of us. Not all of you, but those of you with this attitude do. What do you suppose you need to do to improve your own image to the USA? I mean, gee-whiz, I don't get where some of the people from your continent think that we "need" to impress you or gain your approval everytime we make a decision. We simply don't. Where the heck did you guys ever get that idea? It's quite comical, and reeks of arrogance. You may consider how you need to improve that image. I actually prefer to think of Europe as a mutual partner. While I may come across as harsh here, there is a point to it. We have benefitted from our relationship with you guys as well. But this whole notion that we owe you anything, need to "improve our image" to you, or that we need to strive to gain your approval in how we run our nation doesn't fly.

I won't address your views regarding either Mr. Bush or Mr. McCain.
