If SH3 is running OK, but SH3 Commander isn't, I think it would be best to do the following:

1. Run Control Panel (left click on the "Start" button - bottom left of your screen )
2. From Control Panel run "add/remove programs"
3. If SH3 Commander appears on the list of installed programs, use the "Add/remove Programs" facility to uninstall it.

4. Go into your C:\program files and manually delete any SH3 Commander folders
left there.

I think you can leave the Prefetch files alone for now as a fresh install of SH3 Commander - which is what we're doing - will overwrite them.

5. Run a good clean-up programme (C Cleaner is fast, reliable, easy to use and
free.) Make sure you run the Registry Cleaner, as well as the file cleaner.

6. Reboot your PC.

Update to GWX 2.1. It really is worth it and if your rig can handle 2.0 you shouldn't have too many problems with 2.1

Download & install the latest version of SH3 Commander( I think it's 3.1.0.177 )

Copy the GWX specific .config files from the download location into your new SH3 Commander /cfg folder ( C:\Program Files\SH3 Commander\Cfg )

Run SH3 Commander.
Click on the SH3 Options icon (spanner) and check that the "SH3 path" is the locaation of your SH3 installation.

That should do it.

Any probs, let us know.
