Probably not, given America's political system. I'm often left astounded at how easy it is to press charges against someone in America. Remember that you don't even need to WIN the court case to totally ruin someone either. The financial exhaustion of just defending one's self in court can often do a majority of the damage. |
Exactly, you don't need any evidence to sue someone. You need evidence to successfuly sue someone. But as Hawkeye stated, even being sued can ruin your life.
Let's hope the judge dismisses this case fast.
