I just installed the newes SH3Weather, and looking inside the folder I found a notepad document with a bunch of numbers in it. The next-to-last number in every line is "11", written with quotes just like that. Are those numbers related to what you just described? Can you tell if changing those numbers will change the defaults?

I remember that file. I think it is a log file of the changes SH3 Weather makes before the start of a patrol. I think if you do a search for the original (or is it the revised version :hmm

SH3 Weather thread, you will find a discussion/debate about whether the program is working as it is supposed to or always setting WRI to 11. I suppose it is not really a "biggie" if WRI reads 5 or 11, it's just that Stiebler and I tested the RWF using Rand values set to 0 and WRI set to 5. It won't break anything if you use the SH3 Weather values, but I'm not sure what weather you will get!

So if save in storm will be storm for week when reload
If save again before week gone then another week of storm when play again

Yes, saving resets the weather counter back to zero.

If you must save, only do it immediately
after you observe a change in the weather
and no ships are around
and only on the surface
and not in sight of land
and...sigh.
