In my opinion thats the most critical point. I got several nervous breakdowns
before i found out that this is my most common reason for ctding after reloading a saved game. The animation of the sinking ship popped up long after the ship was gone loading it and bombed out as soon as the ship went under water. Closing the small win didnt changed the behavior so i guess it doesnt matter if external view is enabled or not. Mostly it happened when a C2 cargo was the last victim.
