Where was it filmed ? In the Baltic Sea or in a colored swimming pool ?

Seriously, I've seen a few photos that clearly showed greenish water, but they mostly seemed to be of bays, coves and such.

Probably because it's often the case.
But note that this green is the right color of the North Sea and also in the Dover channel.

I can't speak from experience, of course, since the only time I ever saw the Atlantic Ocean was from 35,000 feet on my way to my only tour of Europe...and that was 1962!

I understand.
The right color of the North Atlantic is very typical.
If the sky is sunny it's a dark blue like South Atlantic but no also blue as the South Atlantic, a little bit more dark.
And in case of covered sky it's a melt of very dark blue and few variants of grey that I named "Blue steel". This is my favorite color and it's absolutly wonderfull specialy if many wind and big waves because the color "blue steel" is changing all the time.
Very impressive !
Of course, it also depends on the thickness of the cloud layer and hence, the amount of light(Google translation, not sure it's correct...).
North Atlantic by covered sky
North Atlantic by sunny sky
Compare with the South Atlantic
