I agree, and I don't use it either. But when the game itself is cheating I can understand why some folks would want to use it. It's like Dead Is Dead - I insist on playing that way, but when the game suddenly kills you because of high time compression or some such, you don't accept it and you reboot.
One player's cheat is another player's lifeline.
