As for things to do in Richmond, there's a ton of shopping, outdoor sports, the river, festivals, beautiful parks, a great music scene, art and cultural museums, and a tremendous amout of history. Plus, it get to the mountains, ocean or D.C., it's only a 1.5 to 2 hour commute in any direction. There's plenty to do.
It took me a little while to like living here but once I started to explore and learn the area, I really liked it. I've even had a couple of friends move here and they love it.
Hope that helps! Good luck with your interview!

You're my new best friend

I noticed your number of posts, Welcome to subsim.

I have a history minor, so I'll OD on history stuff. Where are the nice areas/ bad areas? The company is located on the east side (Infineon) so I don't know if that's a good area or bad area. Too much research to do.
