One thing I'll never forget was hearing a strange sound a couple of years back, and considering I live in the eastern side of Ohare's final approach, I thought I've heard it all. It kept getting louder and higher pitch to the point of the ground shaking, I happen to look west and it was two B-1's at less the 10,000. Talk about a hair standing on end experience.... can't wait to see what flies past the house this year, maybe get some pics to share with the class.
