The Type XXVIII didn't have the underwater endurance of a Type XXI. The Walther engine was never able to be worthwhile in range or dependability and the Type XXVIII program was scrapped in favor of the Type XXI. I'd MUCH rather see a Type XXI (with snorkel
) in SH4 than the Type XXVIII fantasy boat.
That could make me very happy that Operation Monsun is installed (and uninstalled) by JSGME. I'd be switching that puppy in and out frequently to play the Type XXI!
