It is possible to attack with hydrophones only. Just calculate speed as normal, get the operator to follow the contact, set up your solutiuon and fire when the bearing is around whatever firing angle you choose. Try to fire 5 or so degrees before he reaches the target point as the hydro bearing seems to come from amidships or the rear of the ship.
