In stock SH3 I used to see a lot of Hurricans in GWX they tend to be those small 3 man bombers..not sure what they're called. I also get them in high TC but they get real close and when the box comes to warn you of an enemy plane and what you want to do...they are already on top of my sub. Otherwise on low TC my watch crew spots them a mile off and I can dive safely...never had a problem with planes.

Avro Anson is what they're called, you also bring up another good reason for keeping the TC at 256 or 128 with the planes being right on top of you...
as for never having problems with planes, I'd like to add one word....
