Currently in my 4th patrol in a IIa out of Kiel (the canal is a big pain..
). It's U-2...and she's built OK. It's November 1939 and my Kaleun is called Honekop. Softly spoken chap... Anyway, the weather is really good for this time of year...hope it holds out a while longer. So far sunk 2 sole merchants..about 2,000 tons each...so I think I'm mirroring a real-life patrol for a type IIa. I let a juicy one go on my way to the patrol sector. Fired 4 fish and decided to keep 1 for when I reach the sector..otherwise BDU wouldn't be happy...would be the second time I reach the sector with no fish. I tend to not be able to hit a barn door with a tractor or shoot like an expert sniper shooting from 5 feet away...it's all or nothing with me. Why is that?
