The first time I seen one, I was raising my scope. It was not zoomed and just as it was raising, I caught a glimpse of it. I then used the key controls to just raise the scope a little and I could see the mines.
This is cheating I'm sure because I don't think one would really be able to see underwater with a scope, therefore, I do like the previous poster and just hold my breath.
