Hi to all who tried to help me, and thanks.

A couple of things - In the end Mr SquareSteelBar and his SH3 RegClean did the trick, a very good little item there. Did you build it yourself, it worked like a charm, I would really recommend it to any one who needs, or has to un-install and re-install SH3

Can you tell us what it is, or how you made it as it may be useful for other games or applications.

Secondly thanks to Danlisa for his efforts, they were a great help

Lastly during this whole escapade I cam across a new software called TuneUp Utilities 2008 this is one hell of piece of engineering and I would reccommend it to any one, check it out

This is not shareware, but unlike alot of the so called cleaners or tuners, it doesnt just mimick what Windows can do already, this thing seriously takes your PC to bits and reconfigures it for ultimum performance. Best of all they offer a 30 day trial as opposed to some half assed check which finds a bunch of problems that dont really exist. My PC is so well behaved after I used this. Give it a try
