Which means I guess "Stay there until you sink at least one Jap ship!". Well thats fine by me, but I got only 30% fuel, and each day I stay in position, I lose approximately 1% of fuel. Which means that if I dont find a ship to sink within 10 days I wont make it to home . I use RSRDC which uses real shipping lines. But no ship appears. Shall I ignore the orders and head for Midway to refuel and then bakc to pearl harbor? If i do that I will end my career there i think. Or maybe I can start a new career again... any suggestions please?
Yes you can bugger off from the mission designated area for refuel/rearm. Then you can go back to the area and finish the mission objective.
In the mission objective doesn't it say the radius of your mission area ( abcd by efgh by XXX nm) ? They usually assign me with 150-200nm mission area. It's easy to draw this in your map with the compass tool (the thingy that makes the circle) and you can then always easily check if you're in the mission area to make sure you're not straying away.
