Geetrue, I take it you don't do the shopping in your household. 
Seriously, food prices have been rising significantly over the last year. Not all food commodities mind you but rather the essentials such as bread, rice, and milk to name a few. The prices on cars, tv's and the like have come down while the essential food items have risen. Perhaps I should change my diet to large widescreen LCD tv's?
