That's the only gripe I have with the modded snorkel. With CO2 buildup still a worry, that practically defeats the entire purpose of the snorkel. I hope the modders can fix it eventually.  |
This thing is definetly not modable.
I read books and articles and I wondered.
The Kaleun's often had to surface all two days, because of the worse air in the uboat.
Although the Diesels draw a lot of air, there was not a very good air exchange.
Maybe, a bold suppostition, the devs wanted to simulate that problem.
I don't know wether this is a 100% correct information, but it helped me to calm down
