Did you dump the SH3 folders from Program Files and My Documents before the "clean" install? One of the biggest problems is leftover files.

I'm currently in the process of installing all of my favorite mods, and I'm doing it this way: Game, run and test to make sure it's working. GWX 2.0, test. GWX 2.1, test. JSGME to use first 'fix', test. First mod, test.

It's painfully time-consuming, but I'm making sure this time that if a problem arises I know exactly what it is.

And I use a lot of mods.
