Currently nothing announced for the movies that I would be interested in.
Since we have almost none of the old-fahsioned classical "Lichtspielhäuser" left anyway, I do not consider to be a loss. I
hate these giant glass-and-chrome multi-event mega-Cineplex-factories that have replaced them. even in berlin most of the best and well-known movie palaces of classical design has been shut down, even destroyed, being replaced by Cineplex-multi-cinemas. It's a shame. Okay, the younger ones do not know it any different. But they do not know what they are missing.
I really miss these old-fashione dplaces. when still living in Berin, I used to go to the movies once or twice a week - even if the films thy shown were not so special to me. I just loved the feeling and atmosphere of the event, and the way to spend the afternoon that way. "Rollo Mint" was integral part of every visit. But even these peppermint-bitter-chocolate-toffees have gone.
