I don't know what is so funny about that Segways --- I know it looks strange, but it is just a modernized bicycle in China. Ordinary bicycle gives an impression of old fashioned and "low tech" so they change it to a high tech one

Flamethrowers... I guess it is to breach strongholds and covers just like what Americans did in battle of Iwo Jima. (I believe flash grenades would have done the same purpose in a less harmful way through, but anyway, all terrorist caught will be executed, so it makes no difference)
