SH3 doesn't provide that info but SH3 Commander does. One of my careers made it to the end of the war and the post war summary was:
After the surrender he spent six months in Allied captivity. In 1955 he joined the Bundesmarine (postwar German Navy) where he was for nearly four years the head of the torpedo trial station (Marine-Torpedo-Versuchsstation). He retired in 1970. He died on 25 January 1988 in Kiel.
It also gives a breakdown of every patrol and your overall stats on ships sunk including highest tonnage, largest ship, lowest hull integrity, point at which medals earned and longest time at sea.
Yet another reason why SH3 Cmdr is one of the best mods for SH3.
