A case of the cure being worse than the symptom?
Anyway, I have the patch and I'm still talking to the inet. i do not run a firewall outside of the XP default firewall though, and that is an only 1 way firewall.
Most people have Routers these days so even this firewall may not be neccesary through NAT.
