The Nascar ovals have been build as ovals because of a construction error in Nas-cars' steering system.
They still have not figured out the error, just wonder why the cars never go left, so that is why the ovals are there to stay for some more time.
I just hope that never somebody will mess up the starting order - and let the cars launch in the wrong direction...
