I haven't got any issues trying out gwx 2.1 on my pentium M 1.5 laptop once, 2 GB ram (DDR1) and a radeon mobile 9700 vid with 64 MB. However the card is surely the bottleneck, you get framerates of 35+ and about 20+ when you hit more than 1 ship at once

. NYGM or WAC lite supermods should be more laptop- friendly though. I don't know anything about your vid card (dedicated ram?), but the laptop itself handles the game fairly easy.
