A gun that was designed to kill, what does it matter if you can't have a semi-auto? A revolver or pump-action shotgun, will kill a possible threat to you just as good... It isn't specified which arms you have the right to bear in the constitution, so I guess you'll have to live with that. Or move out of DC if you live there.
In that other thread you made about a ban on MG's, what do you need an MG for? I know it's fun shooting one, heck I did some shooting when I served my time in the army, but what's the point in possesing one, is this some kind of potence prothesis?
