Just so I understand this correctly.

RFB and RSRD are for standard SH4 only and will have no effect on U-Boat Missions career? Also if I were to install RSRD I wouldnt need RFB anymore?

And will OM and PE both work with U-Boat Missions?

Hi Schwuppes! RFB is a realism mod which encompasses both Fleet boats, and I believe the U Boats also. This mod tries to accurately, and historicly portray things such as dive rates, weapon rates of fire, torpedoe effects and failure rates, fuel consumption, and battle damage just to name a few.

RSRD is a mod which overhauls the whole campaign layer of the Fleet Boats. It adds historical shipping lanes to the campaign, as well as gives you more accurate patrols and adds new "Ultra" messages from SUBPAC for more immersion factor! RSRD dose not replace RFB, but can and should (IMO) be used togeather for a more realistic experience.

OM deals with a rework of the campaign for the U Boats. It basicly is RSRD for U Boats. This mod also adds Operation Drumbeat, which was carried out off the US coast early in the war. A must have if you play U Boats.

PE rounds out the bunch by giveing you some awesome sunsets and sunrises, and a beautiful sea and sky to marvel at. All these mods can be used togeather. You need to read the info for each mod to determine for example, which version of RSRD is for RFB. All the info is in the "Stickies" at the top of the page. Don't forget to install the reccomended patches for each mod also, and pay attention to the install order for each mod so they work togeather trouble free.

If you haven't done so yet, install the JSGME. You could search it on the forum. This little utility is a must for mod installation/uninstall. Once installed in your SH4 Root directory, simply click on the "gear" icon to create your mods folder. All mods will be unzipped to this mods folder. Create a shortcut of the gear icon in your Root folder for your Desktop. This is the JSGME interface. Here the mods can be activated, or deactivated pain free. This utility also backs up your original files so your game can be restored to its pre-mod state with no hassels.

I hope I explained everything for you. Please read the stickies for each mod. If you still have questions, feel free to ask!
