create ure new carrier with sh3com

launch the game with it

go on patrol

still in the harbor or at the startpoint outside port save and leave the current carrier

load same carrier again

delete the just saved game in the menu (its the 2nd in the list)

exit sh3

change grid in sh3com

relaunch the carrier with a now modified patrol grid with the autosaved game still in port

P.S. I remember about 2 weeks ago disregarding the patrol i got -374 renown in the first patrol from Königsberg. Cant tell if this is a one time event. Since then i manually set a close grid by sh3com and go from there to anywhere i like to engage the enemy.
