This poll got me thinking about when I last changed. I can't remember!
I think it has been over a year since ditching AVG for Avast and dropping Zone Alarm for the nVidia firewall that came with my motherboard's chipset drivers. AVG caused me problems, and when Zone Alarm was taken over by whoever runs them now, it literally took my computer hostage! Zone Alarm wouldn't load and nothing else would work if the firewall didn't load. Finally, after enough pushes of the reset button it finally loaded and I seized the opportunity to ditch it!
