The only problem with Sygate Jim is the fact that the free version is a few years old, new versions are owned by Symantec, unfortuately the old version will not work with router & networked computers, I spent the best part of a day trying!
The best ever IMHO was Zonealarm 4.
Later versions do some funny things, like I just installed version 6 & works very well
EXCEPT (gee I hate that word), if I set
Program Control to anything higher than "Low" then
Ctrl-Alt-Del doesn't work anymore, I can double click taskmgr.exe & that works but not the key sequence, and I can't live without that, especially when programs stop responding!
wonder if there is a way to override this with
Program Control set to "Med"!
