Are you guys kidding, or haven'T you read the manual? when installing, or using new software for the very first time, rightclick the icon in the task bar and switch the "Defense + Security Levels" to "training mode". the firewall then learns how the software works or how the imnstallation is doijng - and will keep that in mind. After installation nor first run, switch back to "Safe Mode". The triggers of your false alerts will be remembered and let the software run without causing alerts. That'S why it is called "Training mode".

Note that it only affects your own software and its behavior, it does not compromise your security with incoming signals, so don't worry.
the "Firewall Security Levels" should and could be left to Custom Policy all the time.
