About the required distance...
In driving school, they taught us one car length every 10 kph. I don't know any law here that specifies any kind of distance!
The justice system in my country is, well, a total wreck. A case can go on for years, judges could be bribed, there is an
unlimited number of appeals that can be filed. It's just that bad!
And besides, in the Philippines, the law of the road is sometimes but not always enforced!
So if you're visiting the country... watch out!
