Heres the question/s: How do i complete that objective. I seem to have completed it already. I'm low on torps + fuel already should i just return to base in fremantle will i still complete the patrol successfully if i do?
Cheers in advance
BTW just thought id mention i actually live about 20 minutes from fremantle in the city of Perth Western Australia, does anyone know anything about the history of American subs stationed in fremantle, the first i knew that they were even stationed here was when i played this game, knew they were in brisbane but my home port ha! how about that

The first objective is to reach the 'zone' and anything you do before you get there is just extra. After you arrive is when they give you the second 'Objective' to sink ships and there is usually a tonnage requirement written into the mission. So the tally of the tonnage isn't started until you are given the 'Objective'.
If you are familiar with the Mission Editor, you can open some of these "Patrol Objectives" and look at how they are written and you will understand a bit more about it. Just look at the Objective requirements. A 'Patrol' they will give you an area (usually but not always 100mile radius) and that is the only objective. In a 'Sink' mission, you get an objective to get there, then they show you the second objective to sink a certain tonnage. So if you sink real small ships you may have to sink three but usually 2 will complete the objective.
