What you are seeing is a game bug that happens when you are transferred to another base. You can find Stiebler's SH3 Patrol on my filefront page.
http://hosted.filefront.com/bobchase Stiebler's mod allows you to set a grid square for your transfer mission so that you get credit for your tonnage sunk. It can do a couple of other things too, just read the RTF file for the documentation.
