What kinda attitude is that? I for one would love my own cabin, even if only so I could retire there before going to the map and up the TC.
"If you need me, I'll be in my cabin"
"Aye, capt'n"
...
"Aircraft spotted, sir!"
"Crash dive, call the captain!"
Maybe it wouldn't add much to gameplay, but it would definetly add to immersion. They way it's now, you're either in the control room, conning tower or on the bridge, 24/7. The crew can rest somewhere, so why not the skipper?
